Your mind is going to fight you on feeling better now, even though you still don’t have what you want. It will come up with plenty of compelling reasons why you should feel like crap; it will remind you to look at your immediate reality, badlyand convince you that all you should be doing now is worrying, obsessing, and finding ways to ‘fix’ the problem.

Your imagination will work out the means to realize your dream while your conscious mind sleeps. Bring your five senses into play as you perform your imaginal activity. Actually hear a friend’s voice congratulating you or feel yourself hugging that person. If you wanted a new piano, run your hand over the smooth wood, touch the keys, and listen to the sound. If you want to receive a dozen roses, actually smell the fragrance and touch their velvety petals.

3) Releasing the Past. Is there someone you’re still in love with? Are there past relationships in your life that are still unresolved?  Almost every person that comes to see me with hopes of finding love is holding onto a past love or relationship, either consciously or unconsciously.  I call this person the passenger in their car.

One of the things that I want to implement this year is regular meditation. At the moment, that’s something I do only when I feel particularly stressed and it helps a lot. I want to increase the benefits so I’m trying to work it into my daily routine. Do you think it’s best to do it in the morning after waking up or before going to bed?     For the past few years, I’ve been having a non-negotiable morning routine. I get up, light some candles and meditate on the life I want to live. I imagine my family, my business, my apartment, my possessions and – most importantly – my core desired feelings.
    Do not abandon yourself in the process. Besides, too much thinking can cause you early wrinkles. With hectic schedules, one can easily get busy at the start of the day rushing about, forgetting to even check if their hair is in place, and definitely no time for mixing and matching clothes, or putting on some make up (for women).
    Your job is to clearly and positively define what you most desire and to get in alignment with your desire through all the ways described above. Your job is not the how. Don’t get caught up on how it’s going to happen.
