For the next several nights I tried to pray, but didn’t really know what I was asking for nor did I feel much gratitude. Yes, I wanted to go to someplace “better” and of course I wanted to be happier, but what did that look like? I soon realized the first step in escaping my uninteresting, midwestern existence was having enough money to facilitate leaving. The sure-fire thing to ask for, I thought, was abundance. So at 4:30 AM on one desperate morning I searched my iPhone for abundance prayers. I found one within seconds, tucked away in some cluttered and clunky forum long forgotten by its original moderators.

Let me start off by acknowledging that I have been flat broke before. Not just once or twice. I have had those times where I was completely stressed to tears about how I was going to pay for the bills that were past due. I have also had times where I have had more than enough money to pay all my bills early, buy boats, cars and take big vacations.

The first time I did this, she was really bad at it. I found several coins during our walk together, often coins that she walked right past without even noticing. Instead of finding coins, she didn’t notice anything. The coins didn’t register within her perceptual reality.

Now let’s put these steps together. Take your clear intention and spend time every day sitting in the feeling of what it is that you desire. You might access the feeling through meditation and visioning exercises, or call on the feeling when you’re in nature or doing a form of exercise you love. Let the thought inform the feeling and let the feeling take over your energy. The more you feel the feeling of what you desire, the more you believe it is on the way. From a metaphysical perspective, if you believe it then it is already here. So make time for contemplating, thinking, feeling and believing.

The Law of Attraction is not wishful thinking. It’s not whining about what you deserve. It’s not complaining about what isn’t here yet. It’s not focusing on what you don’t have, hoping that it will finally come.

2) De-Cluttering your Mind. De-Cluttering your Mind means exactly that.  It means letting go or releasing any fears or beliefs you have about love that are keeping love away from you.  For example, many people believe they have some kind of fatal flaw or secret that may repulse others.  For women, it normally is something physical, and for men, it is normally something in their financial situation or career. The Law of Attraction is all about focusing on what you want, not the fact that you want it. There is an important distinction there. If you focus on what you want, your subconscious mind will be trained to look for the best path to get it. If you focus on the fact that you want something, your brain will only see lack everywhere.

7) Enjoy the time that you’re single.  One day you’ll look back upon these days and you’ll cherish them.  Live it up! Enjoy sleeping alone, the pleasure of doing what you want and when you want it, of spending your money on yourself and, most importantly, being grateful for where you are RIGHT now on your journey.

    To practice being intentional, simply focus on an everyday activity and set your intention on each action you perform on that task. At first, the practice will feel overwhelmingly tedious, but just keep practicing and watch how your focus shifts to the reality of the moment.
    We’ve all heard that annoying cliché, “There’s plenty of fish in the sea”. Even if you’re already thinking about how to manifest love back into your life, this cheesy line is the last thing we want to hear when you’re feeling vulnerable.
