A group of 4,000 meditators volunteered to meditate on peace and love to reduce the amount of crime in the high-crime Washington, DC area. A team of scientists and researchers approached the project without bias and tested for every variable imaginable.
Oprah’s conversation continues with award-winning interior designer and best-selling author Nate Berkus. The way we think about the world affects our experience in it — for good or for bad. Vishen Lakhiani’s transformational course, Consciousness Engineering, allows you to challenge any limiting beliefs you may hold. Try it out and live without limits today!
3. EXPECT your dreams to come true. Expectation propels your desire and opens the runway for your dreams to land quickly, easily and gently. Additionally, with expectation as your fire, you will be less likely to run out of “desire fuel”!
Make the decision that each and every morning, you’ll sit in front of your journal or notebook and write AT LEAST 3 things that you’re deeply grateful for. Do this for 90 days, and you’ll change your life completely!
LOVE stories that detail a bit of the ‘how to’! Your results of course are wonderful – and sounds like even more coming to you in future weeks – but it gives me a lift to ‘feel’ how I would feel in your shoes…(which can only be good for me too eh?) and can help put a rather wishy/washy intention of my own back on track! I have manifested some fun (big and little) things over the years and continue to enjoy hearing others successes for the areas I may need tweaking with! Thanks Jeannette 🙂
Whatever the reason, you want a relationship (or anything in life) because you think it’s gonna make you feel a certain way. And you’re probably right that it will encourage those feelings, but the part that people always miss is the fact that you have to capture that feeling in your imagination first, before you can have it in real life.
It is also one of the most challenging because we are instantly confronted by our limitations. If we don’t treat ourselves for these limitations, I believe we risk remaining prisoners of our own version of “what is,” or our current reality. I’m particularly interested in those wild ideas about “what could be” that leap into our minds and crash up against our beliefs about what is possible for us. These are the big, hairy audacious goals that excite and scare us at the same time. If you have one of those goals in your heart, I am talking to you today.
The easy part is letting the Universe deliver this relationship to you. The hard part is believing and trusting that the Universe will do it all without you needing to know each and every detail along the way.
12. Shift all of your attitudes towards safety/security. Don’t treat money as if it is the thing separating you from disaster or not being safe. Instead, treat thoughts of lack of safety like they are the things separating you from disaster and not being safe. You want to focus visualizing what safety and security would feel like and also on shifting your beliefs about all aspects of your life where you feel powerless. This will ensure that money will not be influenced by your focus on fear, disaster or powerlessness.
STEP#5 (5:02) If the lists aren’t compatible, for example, you wrote down that your perfect relationship is spontaneous and adventurous, but you yourself aren’t spontaneous or adventurous, it’s time to work on yourself. In essence, you should become your own soul mate.
Sometimes you are going to give in, but you must be willing to at least try to let go of the story you keep telling yourself, of the justifications for feebad. If you are not willing to do that, this work is going to be frustrating as hell. Progress will be slow and painful.
