What you place your attention on is your burning desire and intense yearning combined with an intention to make that your reality. You never allow outside circumstances to deflect you from your desires. This inner picture in your imagination is undisturbed by opinions or provocations that originate outside of yourself.
I recently read about Steven Callahan who was lost at sea in a small raft for seventy-six days. His boat had sunk west of the Canary He was able to write his book, Adrift, only because he was committed to getting back home and living. It wasn’t a matter of “if” he got home, he always thought about what he was going to do “when” he got home. Every action he took to keep himself alive was inspired from the passion he felt about getting home. He always found a way to eat, drink and keep his body working from his belief that he could survive at sea alone. And that he did!
Is your life in overdrive? Are you frantic, stretched thin, doing too much with too little time? Entrepreneur and media mogul Arianna Huffington discusses the unexpected spiritual wake-up call that shifted her entire perception of success and what makes life meaningful. Oprah says this about Arianna’s candid interview: “Finally, someone says ou ……
This is where lots of people get stuck with the LoA. They put out conflicting vibes every day. They may visualize having more money and feeling abundant and grateful, but then they go to the grocery store, and they buy cheap, low quality food because in the back of their mind, they’re saying to themselves that they can’t afford the good stuff. And that naturally cancels out the vibe of abundance, so the result is no change.
The purpose of a relationship is not to fill the holes, but to boost the full being that’s already there. Be what you want more of—if you’re the person you want to be, the relationship will just enhance your life. Be sure to write down exactly what you want in a partner—be specific, but focus less on the details and more on the end goal. When I was in the process of manifesting mine, I wrote down the following key characteristics that I wanted in a life partner (seriously, these are the real words, I kept the document so I could refer to it when I found myself in a relationship to see if this stuff actually works—it does):
Can I follow the same steps to manifest friendship with a specific person? I would love to get to know them as we have similar interests and both share the same passion but live two very different lifestyles which is why I have never approached them. But I suppose if you can manifest love than manifesting friendship should be just as easy, right?
For example, if you’re looking to create more income or manifest a big payday, you need to plan around that expectation. Imagine when someone tells you that they’re coming to visit and they’ll be staying at your house in the guest bedroom. You plan your life in accordance with that expected outcome. You prepare the bedroom, clean the house, wash the sheets, and so on.
Be as real as possible when you put yourself out there on dating sites. Also be open to finding something that doesn’t match up to your ‘type’. Too often people aren’t willing to see past the initial impressions. Sometimes digging a little deeper will uncover gems that you are so glad you took the time to uncover.
ENVIRONMENT: In addition to using manifesting money affirmations, another little known trick is to make your desires “physical.” One way to manifest money fast is to use printable fake money as I did when I manifested money in a week. Also, keeping money quotes all around yourself helps your energy figure out how to attract more money.
Try to do this manifesting exercise three times a day, especially right before you go to bed. When you go to sleep, relax into the sensation of knowing you have created all the wealth you need – you manifested emergency money. Just this technique helped Genevieve Behrend manifest $20,000.
Congratulations on (almost!) completing this class! Now that you’ve learned how to manifest your dream life, you’ll need to keep it up moving forward. In this last module, Melissa will summarize a few of her key takeaways, and make sure you’re clear on how to bring abundance into your life long into the future.
Simply put, money is just a story that someone invented and that took hold. It was decided, that some particular shape of coin, or inlaid metallic object, and piece of paper was worth more than the material it represented. This started out as a thought in someone’s mind. That thought is now commonplace. We now expect that a piece of paper with a certain number on it, with a specific color and other identifying elements, is worth something more than the paper it’s printed on.
I didn’t really care about the words of the prayer. I, in my desperation, just wanted to know that it worked. To my pleasant surprise everyone in the forum claimed enthusiastically that after multiple days, weeks or months of reciting the prayer as often as possible, they received some form of abundance. Some authors claimed that they received huge work raises. Others claimed that just mere hours after saying the prayer they found $5, $10 or $20 bills on the sidewalk. Still others said that they abundance they received came in an unexpected form: a pregnancy, a proposal or a new friendship. Most importantly, everyone who had invested any amount of time in reciting the prayer had experienced positive changes from accepting the abundance they had requested.
You might not find love quite where and when you expected it. So you must keep an open mind and be alert to signs from the universe. These might come in the form of coincidences, repeated imagery, or chance meetings.
Soon will come the time when the universe will reward you in the exact proportion to your beliefs and emotions. Remember that you are not searching for “happiness” but a loving relationship. Happiness is a very positive and powerful energy which you already have, if you only decide to feel it and become aware of it.
Putting your ultimate goal out into the world—even just to acknowledge that you wish it—can itself be a scary proposition if the goal is big enough and crazy enough. We ask ourselves (a la Marianne Williamson and Nelson Mandela), “Who am I to think I can be/do/have this?” This thought and the attendant feelings and associations that come with it are what we first need to tap on.
His New York Times number one best-seller, “The Untethered Soul,” is one of the books that is always on Oprah’s nightstand. Author and spiritual teacher Michael Singer reveals practical methods for allowing feelings to pass through you without taking over your life. He says spiritual growth begins by learning to silence the negative thoughts in ……

People often ask me how I managed to travel to so many fabulous places. The truth is, at one point it was even a mystery to me. But after manifesting what seemed to me as random, last minute trips to Hawaii time and time again, I began to suspect that there was something more going on. Either I was just really good at manifesting trips to Hawaii or I was tapping into something magical. I decided to test out my manifesting skills and up the ante. If I can manifest trips to Hawaii, why not Europe? And sure enough — Voila! I ended up on the trip of a lifetime to Paris and the Amalfi Coast less than a month later!
You’re also competing with other people’s intentions – both good and bad. So, be aware that if your desire is in direct conflict with someone else’s stronger desire, the universe will respond accordingly. The Law of Attraction does not give you full and total control of your life, it simply states that like will attract like. You can use this to your advantage by being intentional with your desires, but this isn’t magic.
We can easily manifest money into our lives, or anything else for that matter, by expecting it to come to pass. Wishing and hoping doesn’t work. The Law of Attraction is founded on an expectation of a specific outcome. It revolves around the potential positive or negative energy that a given thought takes in your mind. When you expect the worst to happen, it often happens. When you expect the opposite, that often occurs as well.
Do not abandon yourself in the process. Besides, too much thinking can cause you early wrinkles. With hectic schedules, one can easily get busy at the start of the day rushing about, forgetting to even check if their hair is in place, and definitely no time for mixing and matching clothes, or putting on some make up (for women).
