There’s a lot of scientific research behind the effects of mindfulness, and it’s well beyond the scope of this guide. What you should know is that mindfulness is proven to relieve things like anxiety and depression and has an incredibly beneficial effect on things like blood pressure, the immune system, heart rate and even cancer.
Now, close your eyes and see if you can you feel that there is love and fullness there? Can you feel that there is peace, right here in this moment? Can you feel a faint sense of connection? If you answered “yes” (even just a little bit), you’ve found self-love.

A Course in Miracles teaches that on some level, you’ve asked for everything that happens in your life. Your intentions create your reality. There’s no need to beat yourself up: Simply recognizing how your low-level thoughts negatively affect your life is the first powerful step toward changing your experiences. Begin your manifesting process by getting honest about how your low-level thoughts, energy and feelings of disbelief block you from receiving what you desire. Once you get clear about the blocks, you can begin to clean them up to clear space for positive manifestations to occur.
This is the most important step and the one most people get stuck on. After you’ve properly defined what you want and immersed yourself in the vision, you must let go in order for manifestation to occur!
